Celebrate the Season in Red and White

Oh. My. Gosh.

I have no idea where this came from. Last week, I just sat down and made it. Don't you love the way the border punch echoes the pointy poinsettias on top? Yeah, I did that on purpose.

It makes me happy. Oh. So. Happy.

I hope it makes you happy, too.

Supplies
stamps: Peaceful Poinsettia, Take a Bough
ink: real red, Palette noir
paper: real red, PTI white
accessories: ribbon, button, floss, dimensionals, lattice border punch

  5. see, now that is why you are so brilliant - you do this great stuff on purpose ... not haphazardly, like some of us!! LOL Yes, this is very pretty.

  6. Oh yes, this makes me very happy! I love to hear that you did this on purpose too! Though I thought most of your cards are created with intention. You analyze what works on a card - keep it up - I'm learning!!

  9. Oh No! I've been beating back my urge to get the dotted wave punch and now I absolutely have to have the arched lattice punch too.

Your style is so perfect, requiring so little expense, yet EVERY day I get Iwantitis and lust for something I don't have. I think here they call you an "enabler". But the beauty of it is that you've enabled me to know for sure I WILL use what I buy because it's like buying classic clothes vs. buying fad clothes.

The thing I love about this card is that the punched edge makes it girly but the button and stitched ribbon makes it dude ish, so that contrast balances to make me happy!

    Thanks for sharing your genius.

  12. I love the way you offset the main panel but put the ribbon across the whole card. Such an interesting layout. And what a great coincidence that you border coordinates so well with your flowers.
